INF recalls bicycle helmets over risk of serious head injuries

Retailer INF is recalling several bicycle helmets and head protectors over a risk of serious head injuries, SVT reports, citing a statement from the Swedish Consumer Agency.

The agency says the helmets’ protective performance has not been verified through the required EU type examination, so the promised protection against head injuries cannot be guaranteed.

The recall covers four models: MI-LS-S007-11D, TLS-ANNMRAWSM-11D, TLS-ANNMRAWS-11D and TLS-ANNMRAWS-12D. The products were sold directly by INF on the Swedish market.
