Three men suspected in fatal assault in Espoo

Three adult men are suspected of aggravated assault and aggravated manslaughter after a man was assaulted in Olari, a district of Espoo, and later died in a private apartment, Yle reports. Police say the suspects and the victim knew each other.

Western Uusimaa Police are seeking witnesses to the movements of a group of four men and to the violence against the victim on Monday, October 26, between about 6pm and midnight. The group was likely heading towards Kalliolähde via Kuunsirppi, Kuunsäde and Friisinkalliontie, police said.

Police arrested the three adult suspects on Tuesday morning and will seek their remand. Investigators say the victim was assaulted outdoors before dying later in a private home.

One suspect was wearing an orange hoodie, possibly a grey fleece, and a blue baseball cap. Another had a grey jacket and a brownish baseball cap, while the third wore a black jacket.
