Committee reviews proposed port, bridge and cargo charges

KVF reports that the Faroese parliament’s Business Committee is spending Thursday morning reviewing a proposal on port, bridge and cargo charges from Jacob Vestergaard, a member of the government.

The committee has invited Tórshavn Municipality, Tórshavn Port, Klaksvík Municipality, Sands Municipality, the Association of Municipalities, Vinnuhúsið and lawyer Birita Sandberg Samuelsen to attend.

The committee has had the proposal since October 20. Tórshavn Port receives money for Smyril.
