Police investigate aggravated assault after young woman injured in Oulu

A young woman under 18 was injured with a sharp object in Oulu on Wednesday morning, Yle reports. Police are investigating the incident as aggravated assault.

Police received a report at about 7.30 a.m. that violence had been used against the teenager. The incident took place outdoors in a public area in Hiironen, Oulu.

The victim did not suffer serious injuries. Police suspect the person responsible of aggravated assault.
