Mild, cloudy weather to continue across Finland

Mild and cloudy weather will continue across Finland on Wednesday, with sunshine expected mainly in the east, Yle reports.

Rain is forecast in parts of the country. A weather front will lie over western and northern Finland in the afternoon, bringing scattered drizzle in the west and more persistent rain in the north, Yle meteorologist Elias Paakkanen said.

Cloud cover will be extensive across most of the country, although the sun may appear at times in the east. The front and rain will move slightly east during the evening.

On Thursday, rain is expected near the eastern border, with occasional drizzle possible in the west and north. Most of the country will remain cloudy, while the sun may appear in the south.
