Sunny, dry weather to start the week

Most of Finland will have sunny, dry weather on Monday, Yle meteorologist Matti Huutonen says. Daytime temperatures will range from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius.

Light rain will move across northern Lapland. Winds will be strong in Lapland and could reach storm force on the fells.

Drivers should watch for slippery roads on Monday morning after overnight frost, including in the south. Hoarfrost on road surfaces could make conditions slippery across much of the country.

Sunny, dry weather is expected to continue on Tuesday. Fog or low cloud may form overnight, and cloud cover could linger into the afternoon in some places.
