About three-quarters of Finns support the European Commission’s proposal for a complete ban on social media use by children under 13, according to a poll reported by Maaseudun Tulevaisuus and Yle.
Thirteen per cent of respondents opposed the proposal, while 11 per cent said they were unsure.
Kantar Agri conducted the poll for Maaseudun Tulevaisuus, surveying just over 1,000 people around the turn of September and October. The results were weighted to represent the adult population of mainland Finland. The margin of error is three percentage points in either direction.
