Jón Gnarr says leaving Viðreisn group was a difficult decision

Jón Gnarr says leaving Viðreisn’s parliamentary group was one of the hardest decisions of his life, mbl.is reports.

He cited Article 48 of the Constitution, which says: “Members of Parliament are bound only by their convictions, not by any rules imposed by their voters.”

Gnarr wrote on Facebook that he would continue working on issues he cares deeply about, including children in serious difficulty and individual freedom.
