Police suspect no crime in Tuusula industrial fire

Police do not suspect a crime caused a major fire at an industrial building in Lahela, Tuusula, on Wednesday morning, Yle reports. The fire may have started in a vehicle that was being repaired inside the building.

Police said the fire was not believed to have been caused by welding or other hot work. Investigators began a technical examination once the scene had cooled enough, and the cause investigation is expected to take several weeks.

Several businesses operated in the damaged building, and the extent of the damage varies. Police said it was too early to estimate the total property losses. No one was injured.

The rescue service contained the fire a few hours after it began.
