Finland’s Employment, Development and Administration Centre (KEHA Centre), a state expert agency, is starting new co-operation negotiations that could reduce its staff by the equivalent of 26 full-time positions, Yle reports.
The centre said the negotiations are being launched for production-related reasons. The proposed adjustment is linked to work duties that have been put forward for abolition.
The negotiation proposal is based on a government bill submitted last Thursday. The bill proposes changes to the centre’s employment services and international recruitment duties.
KEHA Centre completed its previous co-operation negotiations in June, resulting in 71 employees being dismissed. The centre currently has 734 employees.
