Police warn of icy roads as temperatures fall

Police in the capital region are warning drivers that ice could form on roads tonight and tomorrow morning, mbl.is reports.

In a Facebook post, police said temperatures are expected to drop this evening and reach near freezing in higher-lying areas tomorrow morning.

Heavy precipitation fell across the capital region earlier today, so icy patches could develop as temperatures fall. Police urged drivers to take care and adapt their driving to conditions.
