Rising oil prices may force taxi companies to raise fares

Taxi companies may have to increase fares if oil prices keep rising, their managers told Kringvarp Føroya (KVF). The heads of Auto Taxi and Bil Taxi said no decision has been made yet.

Taxi driver Terji Jacobsen said the current system of charges should be reviewed, arguing that fees are being added on top of other fees.
