Stubb hosts Estonia’s new president for talks in Finland

Finnish President Alexander Stubb is hosting Estonia’s new president, Ülle Madise, on a working visit to Finland, Yle reported.

The two presidents are meeting at the Presidential Palace to discuss bilateral relations, Russia’s war in Ukraine, European defence and security in the countries’ neighbouring region. A joint press conference is scheduled after the talks.

Madise, previously Estonia’s Chancellor of Justice, was sworn in as president in Tallinn on Monday.
