Sun gives way to rain across Finland from Wednesday
Finland will enjoy sunny weather on Tuesday before rain and slightly warmer temperatures arrive from Wednesday, Yle reports.
Tuesday will be sunny across much of the country, though parts of Finland, especially Lapland, may see some cloud. Temperatures will reach around 8 degrees in the south and hover near 5 degrees in central Finland. Some northern areas will remain below freezing, and temperatures are expected to fall below zero across much of the country by evening.
From Wednesday, temperatures will rise by a few degrees as slightly warmer air moves in. Rain is expected across almost the whole country. Lapland may also see snow, while precipitation elsewhere is forecast to fall as rain. Snow and sleet could make driving conditions poor in Lapland.
