Sigríður Hrefna leaves Nói Síríus CEO role

Sigríður Hrefna Hrafnkelsdóttir has left her position as chief executive of confectionery company Nói Síríus, mbl.is reports. She will take another job, which is due to be announced on Tuesday.

Asked whether eating too much candy played a part in her decision to move on, she said it did not. “You can never eat too much Nói Síríus candy,” she said, laughing.

She joined Nói Síríus in 2023 from Íslandsbanki, where she had been managing director of the personal banking division since 2017. Before that, she was managing director of Olís’s retail division.

Sigríður Hrefna is a lawyer and holds an MBA from Copenhagen Business School.
