Forecast storm could disrupt international and domestic flights
International and domestic flights could be disrupted on Wednesday as a storm approaches Iceland, mbl.is reports.
A deep low-pressure system is expected to move towards the country, bringing severe northerly weather and considerable precipitation.
“There may be some disruption, but it will depend a lot on when the weather hits. We have our response plans, but we will not take any action until the picture is clearer. We are monitoring the situation closely and are on alert,” Guðni Sigurðsson, an Icelandair spokesperson, told mbl.is.
Sigurðsson said Icelandair would contact passengers if there were changes to flights.
