Conductor pushed onto tracks at Kerava station

A VR train conductor was pushed onto the tracks at Kerava station on Friday afternoon, Yle reports. VR confirmed the incident to Yle.

Police were at the station investigating, according to VR. The Eastern Uusimaa Police Department is investigating the case.

Ilta-Sanomat first reported the incident. The newspaper said the conductor was not seriously injured, citing an eyewitness who said the conductor was heading to a Helsinki-bound Z train when someone on the platform deliberately pushed them onto the tracks.
