LÍV’s ownership association will consider a proposal requiring members of its representative council to live in the Faroe Islands at an extraordinary general meeting on October 22, KVF reports.
The proposed bylaw change would make only people with permanent residence in the Faroe Islands eligible for election. A council member who no longer has permanent residence there would have to leave the council.
