Hoffellsá bridge closes for repairs as detour becomes free

The Hoffellsá bridge on Hornafjarðarvegur will be closed until midnight on Thursday, October 8, for repairs, mbl.is reports.

Drivers will be diverted onto the new Ring Road route around Hornafjarðarfljót. Travel on that route will be free while Hornafjarðarvegur is closed, according to the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration.
