Icelandic Business Association holds annual meeting at Harpa

The Icelandic Business Association held its annual meeting at Silfurberg in Harpa on Thursday, under the theme “Moving forward,” mbl.is reported.

Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir spoke at the meeting, along with association chairman Jón Ólafur Halldórsson and managing director Bjarni Benediktsson. Rannveig Rist, former chief executive of Rio Tinto in Iceland, also addressed attendees.

Halldórsson presented Rist with the association’s Gold Medal. The event was attended by, among others, Tómas Már Sigurðsson, Guðmundur Kristjánsson, Birna Ósk Einarsdóttir, Skúli Mogensen, Sigtryggur Magnason, Vilhjálmur Birgisson, Daði Már Kristófersson and Foreign Minister Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir.
