Reykjavík begins talks on site for Tækniskólinn

Reykjavík City Council has approved starting formal talks with Tækniskólinn, a technical college, about a site for a new school in the city’s upper districts, mbl.is reports.

One possible location is a plot in Úlfarsárdal. Mayor Hildur Björnsdóttir said there was strong cross-party support on the city council for a new Tækniskólinn in Reykjavík.

“There is excitement on our side, and we look forward to talking with representatives of Tækniskólinn,” she told Morgunblaðið.
