Key witness absence postpones jury trial

A jury trial at Føroya Rættur, a court, has been postponed because a key witness could not attend, KVF reported.

The trial had been scheduled to run throughout this week. Two men, aged 53 and 37, are charged with particularly serious and brutal violence, attempted arson, threats and robbery.

The alleged offences took place in a house in Tórshavn early in the evening on February 18. The entire case has been postponed.
