Police find man mushroom hunting in Native American costume

A man reported for unusual behaviour in Breiðholt was found looking for mushrooms while dressed in a Native American costume, mbl.is reports.

Police also received a report of objectionable behaviour by individuals at a restaurant in downtown Kópavogur. They were asked to leave, according to the Metropolitan Police daily log covering incidents from 5 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

At the time the log was written, five people were being held in police cells, including two in remand custody.

A minor traffic accident was reported in Grafarvogur. The drivers dealt with it themselves using an accident report form.

Police also received reports of a group of young people gathering by a shopping centre in Breiðholt, and of suspicious people in Grafarvogur. Officers found nothing when they arrived.
