Truth commission urges Sweden to apologise to the Sami

Sweden bears responsibility for historical injustices against the Sami people, the Truth Commission for the Sami people says in a report, according to SVT.

“The Swedish state should acknowledge and take responsibility, and compensate for the consequences,” the report says.
