Emergency services stage runway excursion drill at Vagar Airport

Emergency services took part in a large-scale exercise at Vagar Airport on Tuesday, simulating an aircraft carrying 150 people running off the runway, according to KVF.

All emergency response services participated in the drill. “We must learn from this, should it happen in real life,” said Regin I. Jacobsen, director of Vága Airport.
