Rain showers expected across Iceland today

Rain showers are expected in many parts of Iceland today, mbl.is reports.

Southwesterly winds of 10 to 18 metres per second are forecast. Most areas will see showers, while eastern Iceland will remain mostly dry.

Temperatures will range from 7 to 15 degrees Celsius, with the warmest conditions in the east. Winds will ease this evening.

On Wednesday, southwesterly winds of 5 to 13 metres per second are expected, with showers continuing. Northeastern and eastern Iceland will be mostly clear.
