Pedestrian dies after being hit by car on Oulu motorway

A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on the Pohjantie motorway in Oulu, Yle reports.

The accident happened near the Isko exit, a few kilometres north of central Oulu, shortly after 2pm on Friday.

The crash temporarily caused traffic congestion.
