Bogi Jacobsen leaves Varðin as chief executive

Bogi Jacobsen has left his position as chief executive of Varðin, the company and Kringvarp Føroya reported. Jacobsen and the board agreed that he would step down.

Jacobsen had served as Varðin’s chief executive since 2020. Sámal Joensen, the company’s technical manager, will serve as interim chief executive.

The board will now begin the process of finding a new chief executive.
