Reykjanesbær unveils new neighbourhood and construction plans

Reykjanesbær is presenting plans for a new neighbourhood at a business and construction conference, mbl.is reports.

A declaration of intent to speed up construction of a new detached-housing neighbourhood at Ásbrú is also due to be signed by Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Daði Már Kristófersson, Reykjanesbær Mayor Vilhjálmur Árnason and Kadeco CEO Pálmi Freyr.

The municipality’s substantial construction needs and investment plans by local businesses will also be discussed. The business panel will feature Ingvar Eyfjörð, CEO of Aðaltorg, Ásta S. Fjeldsted, CEO of Festi, and Kári Marís Guðmundsson, CEO of Algalíf.
