Police respond to group fight in car park
Police in the capital region responded to a report of a group fight in a car park yesterday evening or overnight, mbl.is reported.
Most people had left by the time officers arrived, according to the police log. Those who remained declined to comment. The location of the fight was not disclosed.
Police also responded to a call involving suspected domestic violence, assault and property damage. Officers from a station serving the Austurbær, Vesturbær and central areas of Reykjavík, as well as Seltjarnarnes, handled the case.
Police received a report of disturbance and loud shouting in an apartment building in either Hafnarfjörður or Garðabær. They also removed unwelcome people from a shopping centre in either Kópavogur or Breiðholt.
The night was otherwise relatively quiet, and the police holding cells were empty in the early morning.
