Insect remains found in River rice package

Consumers are being warned not to eat a batch of River Rice white rice after insect remains were found in a package, mbl.is reports.

The warning applies to one-kilogram packages imported by Danól ehf. and sold exclusively in Samkaup stores. The company has recalled the product in cooperation with the Reykjavík Health Inspectorate.

Consumers who have the affected product are asked to dispose of it or return it to the store.
