SVT schedules election special for Morgonstudion

SVT’s Morgonstudion is offering a four-hour live news programme on Friday, with frequent updates, interviews and coverage of domestic and international news, according to the Swedish broadcaster.

The programme includes weather, sport, culture, entertainment and local news, with news summaries every half-hour. The broadcast is available to watch only in Sweden and can be viewed until September 18.

A special edition focusing on the election is scheduled for Saturday at 08:00. It will follow the parties’ final campaign push, analyse the main issues before election day and include live reports from different parts of the country, alongside experts and commentators in the studio.

The election special will be presented by Prescilia Haddad and Fredrik Skillemar.
