Court hears arson case over public toilet in Havn

Kringvarp Føroya reports that the Court of the Faroe Islands is hearing the case over a fire at a public toilet on Mylnugøta in Havn.

A man is accused of setting the fire during the afternoon of November 9, 2024. According to the indictment, he set fire to a napkin and threw it into a waste bin inside the toilet.

The prosecution is seeking a prison sentence and compensation. The man denies guilt.
