Höfðatorg defendant testifies remotely from Jordan

Qossay Ali Yahya Alsadi, one of the defendants in the Höfðatorg case, gave evidence remotely from Jordan during the main hearing at Reykjavik District Court, mbl.is reported.

He was on a bus when the court contacted him in the morning. Alsadi said he would move somewhere quiet before giving his evidence.

He listened to Kareem M. M. Abufarhah’s testimony via video link. The hearing initially faced technical difficulties while it was confirmed that Alsadi could hear the Arabic interpreter, after which it continued.
