Finance minister to present Iceland’s 2027 budget proposal

Daði Már Kristófersson, Iceland’s minister of finance and economic affairs, will present the government’s 2027 budget bill at 9 a.m. today, mbl.is reports.
The proposal is expected to provide for a balanced budget, with a surplus of several billion Icelandic krónur. The exact size of the surplus will become clear when the bill is presented.
