Significant artworks have been stolen from Folkets Hus in Trondheim. Police have arrived at the scene and are conducting a crime scene investigation while securing evidence. The stolen pieces include works by artists Aune Sand and Marianne Aulie, as the venue hosts a pop-up exhibition.

Authorities believe the theft likely occurred overnight. A police spokesperson, Svein Helgetun, confirmed that they received a report of the stolen paintings around 12:45 PM today. The police have opened a case and commenced their investigation, noting that they are still in the initial stages of the process. Currently, there are no leads regarding the identity of the culprits involved in the burglary.

Artist Vebjørn Sand shared on Facebook that he is also displaying his finest works at the exhibition.
