Pressure across Europe is increasing, with Russia accused of terrorism, hybrid warfare and attempts to recruit people to carry out tasks for Russia, knowingly or unknowingly, KVF reports. Denmark’s PET has warned people to remain alert, while the Faroese radio programme Breddin asks how the tense situation affects the Faroe Islands and when residents can expect a preparedness plan.
The programme will examine whether people in the Faroe Islands should also be on their guard and what preparations are needed if something were to happen.
Breddin will also return to the spiral case in Greenland. A week has passed since an expert group published a report examining which human rights violations were committed and whether the Greenlandic population was subjected to genocide.
The programme will speak to a lawyer about the definition of genocide, as well as responsibility and punishment for crimes committed against population groups throughout history. Breddin airs at 10am.
