Bottle bomb detonated at Helsinki school
A bottle bomb was detonated at Porolahti Comprehensive School in Helsinki on Friday morning, Yle reports, citing the Helsinki Police. No one was injured and the school day continued normally.
Police said a half-litre plastic bottle was detonated on a landing inside the school in the Roihuvuori district. Students were evacuated while police worked at the scene.
Police received the report through the emergency services shortly after 9 a.m. They are continuing to investigate the incident.
A criminal report was filed on suspicion of causing danger and possessing an object or substance suitable for seriously injuring another person.
