Morocco extradites two Swedes wanted in drug cases

Morocco has extradited two Swedish men suspected of involvement in large-scale drug trafficking and sales, Swedish police said, according to SVT.
The men, aged 28 and 42, will both be remanded in custody, police said.
The 28-year-old is suspected of leading a wholesale network that sold drugs to influential criminal networks across Sweden and the Nordic countries.
The 42-year-old held a leading position in a criminal network and is suspected of organising the smuggling of large quantities of cannabis to Sweden between 2020 and 2021. Several alleged accomplices have already been convicted in Sweden.
Two more Swedes arrested
Two additional Swedish citizens were recently arrested in Morocco.
One is a man linked to a criminal network in western Sweden who was wanted on suspicion of exceptionally serious drug and weapons offences. The other is a 28-year-old man who absconded while due to serve a prison sentence for gross violation of a woman’s integrity and gross unlawful threats, police said.
