Broken traffic lights cause delays at two intersections

Traffic lights at two intersections are out of service because of a fault, mbl.is reports. Repairs are under way, but it is not yet clear how long they will take.

The affected intersections are Breiðholtsbraut and Reykjanesbraut, and Nýbýlavegur and Dalvegur.

The Road Administration has urged drivers to exercise caution. Police in the capital region said traffic delays should be expected and reminded motorists to follow the traffic signs at the locations.

Drivers planning to travel through the intersections this afternoon may want to adjust their plans.
