Court remands suspect after fatal assault in Raasepori
Finland The Western Uusimaa District Court has remanded one person in custody over a violent crime in Karjaa, Raasepori, last weekend that left one man dead, Yle reports, citing Western Uusimaa Police.
Police do not currently suspect that anyone else was involved.
The suspected crime took place between 29 and 30 August. The victim was born in the 1970s and the suspect in the 1980s. The men knew each other but were not related. Police suspect alcohol played a role in the incident.
The man died while being transferred into an ambulance.
Police are investigating the case as aggravated assault and causing death.
Police have not disclosed the precise location of the suspected crime. They previously said they had carried out a visible investigation in the Kiila area.
