Farmers plan tractor protest in Copenhagen over nitrogen rules

Farmers plan to protest outside Christiansborg in Copenhagen on Tuesday, with up to 2,000 farmers and other agricultural stakeholders expected to attend alongside 300 tractors, DR reported.

The farmers are particularly dissatisfied with new nitrogen regulations.

The protest follows a large meeting held by Agriculture and Food in Odense on Monday about the consequences of the government’s agricultural policy.
