Finland’s Parliament has begun the final autumn session of its current electoral term, Yle reports.
The government is due to submit its final proposals in November, while budget bills are expected in October. Parliament will approve next year’s state budget in December.
The approaching elections are likely to lead to sharp parliamentary debate as parties seek to highlight their goals for the next term. The next parliamentary elections are seven and a half months away.
