Iceland heads toward rejection of renewed EU talks

According to mbl.is, Iceland appears set to reject restarting membership negotiations with the European Union. Counting is complete in all constituencies except Southwest, the country’s largest.
Nationwide, 52.5 per cent have voted no and 47.5 per cent yes.
The latest figures from Southwest showed 51.5 per cent voting no and 48.5 per cent voting yes. The constituency’s electoral board has not said when final results are expected.
Final results have already been reported from the Northeast, where 61.2 per cent voted no, the Northwest, where 62.9 per cent voted no, and the Southern constituency, where 60.5 per cent voted no.
