Driver stopped after driving against traffic at Smáratorg

A driver was stopped after driving onto a curb, hitting a stone and travelling against traffic at Smáratorg, mbl.is reports.

Árni Friðleifsson, deputy chief superintendent with the traffic department of the Capital Region Police, said police stopped the driver shortly afterwards.

The driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle because of an illness. No one was injured.
