Bubs draws hundreds to new Helsinki candy store

Swedish candy brand Bubs drew hundreds of people to its new store in central Helsinki on Saturday morning, Yle reported.

More than 100 people gathered outside the shop to wait for its opening, with some of the first customers arriving the previous evening and bringing mattresses.

Most of those in line were teenagers or younger adolescents. According to Yle reporter Riina Rastas, most said they had already eaten Bubs sweets before.

The brand has gained international attention through social media. Swedish candy has become particularly well known in the United States and Asia.
