Rainy but mild weekend forecast for Finland
Yle reports that the weekend will be mild and increasingly rainy across Finland.
Saturday morning will be widely sunny, and the day will be mostly dry. Southeasterly winds will strengthen in the west, where cloud cover will also increase. Temperatures will be around 20 degrees Celsius.
The chance of showers will rise in the west during the evening, but no torrential rain is expected to affect people celebrating Venetsialaiset.
On Sunday, scattered rain will spread across much of the country. A dry zone will extend from North Karelia to northern Lapland.
The weather will become drier and clearer in the west on Sunday evening. However, new rain will already be approaching from the southwest, and the start of next week will be unsettled.
