Lidl recalls vegan mozzarella-style topping over undeclared milk

Lidl is recalling a batch of Vemondo vegan mozzarella-style grated topping because it may contain milk, Yle reports.

The product, called Vemondo Vegan Topping Mozzarella Flavour, is sold in 150-gram packages. The milk is not listed in the product’s ingredients. Lidl says the product is otherwise safe to use.

The recall applies only to products with batch number L1141152 and a best-before date of 19 November 2026.

The batch was sold at Lidl stores in Pirkanmaa, Satakunta, Kanta-Häme, Southwest Finland and western Uusimaa. In western Uusimaa, the affected stores are in Vihti, Raseborg, Hanko, Karkkila, Lohja and Hyvinkää.

Lidl asks customers to return products from the affected batch to a store for a refund.
