Man asks police to drive him between locations

Police in the capital region dealt with a series of incidents on Wednesday, including a foreign man’s request for a ride, mbl.is reports.

According to the police log, officers were first called after a badly parked pickup truck triggered a dispute between neighbours in postal code 104.

The log also says the man called police seeking assistance. Because officers had difficulty understanding him, a patrol car was sent to the scene. It emerged that he needed transport between locations, but he was told that the police do not provide that service.

Police also stopped two drivers who were using studded tyres. One did not have a driving licence, while the other had committed the same offence earlier this summer.
