Kela pays benefits early and late after Nordea disruption

Finland’s Social Insurance Institution Kela paid some benefits earlier than scheduled and delayed others because of a disruption in Nordea’s payment processing, Yle reports.

Customers of S-Bank received their Wednesday benefits from Kela on Tuesday. Meanwhile, some Kela customers’ Tuesday benefit payments were not credited to their accounts until the afternoon.

Kela said the disruption in Nordea’s payment processing has now been resolved.
